Since the new DPT-IPV-Hib vaccine was introduced in April last year, production of the DPT-IPV vaccine has ended.
As soon as the current stock runs out, you will no longer be able to receive DPT-IPV vaccine, so if you have not completed it, please plan to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
① Check the vaccination section of your maternal and child health handbook to make sure you have been vaccinated up to the fourth dose.
② Check to see if you have a Vaccine screening questionnaire. If you don't have one, please ask the support center and they will print a n
ew one for you. If you don't have it, you can't receive the vaccine.
③ Make a reservation through our reservation site.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we only have reservations available for one month from today. If the reservations are full, please check the reservation site again tomorrow.
The intervals for the DPT-IPV vaccination are as follows:
First vaccination of stage 1: 3 vaccinations every 3-8 weeks from 2 months of age
Additional vaccination of stage 1: 1 vaccination at least 6 months after the completion of the first 3 vaccinations of stage 1.
Also, patients who have not received the fourth dose of the Hib vaccine can receive the DPT-IPV-Hib vaccine instead of the DPT-IPV vaccine. The DPT-IPV vaccine form can be used, so please bring it with you when you receive the vaccination.
A second dose of chickenpox is also vaccinated along with the additional DPT-IPV vaccine. The second dose is given three months (preferably six months) after the first. Patients who have not yet received the chickenpox vaccine should make an appointment to receive both.
When the stock of the DPT-IPV vaccine runs out, it is not decided how to do it. The Edogawa Ward office will decide it. Please get vaccinated as soon as possible to avoid being subject to this.
